HINTS ABOUT APPLYING

  • Applications for the Jamboree must first be completed online.

 

  • You will reqire your Branch Registration Nmber which is on you Branch Membership Card. If you have not received your card or can't find your number please contact your Group Leader who can obtain it from the Branch Extranet Database.

  •  

  • Once your Application Form has been signed by all the relevant people, you need to upload it into the system so that your Contingent and the Organising Committee can review your Application prior to accepting you to the Contingent.  

  • Once you have been accepted to the Contingent you will not be able to re-upload the form, prior to your acceptance you can delete the form and re-upload if required.

 

  • Please note that the required format for the uploaded document is PDF (Portable Document Format)

 

  • Obtain the required signatures as follows:

Scouts

Scout Leader; Group Leader; and Branch Commissioner, Scouts

Venturer Scouts

Venturer Leader; Group Leader; and Branch Commissioner, Venturers

Leaders / Rovers

Group Leader or next appropriate level of Commissioner / BRC Chair

Please ensure all information is provided including required signatures, otherwise the application will need to be returned.

 

  • Acknowledgement of receipt of your application and deposit will be by way of the change in status to your online application.

 

  • Email addresses: The application form has provision for the email addresses of both the applicant and the Parent/Guardian. Please ensaure both are filled in as applicable, invoices and any matters concerning consent will be sent to the Parent /Guardian address.   

 

  • Photographs: the application form asks for a passport size photograph - Just a plain straight on full face head and sholders, no hats, no sunglasses, no one else in the shot, and recent (in the last 6 months) Photographs deemed unacceptable will be rejected and require reentry
